Prosperidad neighborhood loft. Madrid
Change of use in one of the most traditional neighborhoods of Madrid.
Nature between levels
This loft in the Prosperidad neighborhood combines the vertical breadth of the day area with rest environments on a more intimate scale. The different levels, the staircase and the visible structural elements participate in the organization of the interior. A palette of warm wood, gray and black serves as a base for the abundant presence of vegetation and botanical motifs.
The kitchen features solid wood fronts and dark countertops. Light under tall furniture highlights the work area, while a bar with stools establishes a transition to the living room. Glass lamps, ceiling fans and suspended plants occupy the high volume without closing perspectives. In the living room, the textures of the sofa, the rug and the wooden tables make the scale of the space more welcoming.
The rest area is linked to an open dressing room in which shelves, drawers and bars are arranged between dark uprights. Integrated lighting runs along the shelves and highlights their depth. Behind the bed, a motif of branches creates a graphic background that continues the relationship with nature. In the bathroom, this reference is intensified with a large black and white leaf drawing, accompanied by a compact sink and a softly contoured mirror. The character of the loft is born from the encounter between a visible structure and a warm, tactile and vegetal decoration.
