Casas de Autor

The house begins long before decorating it.

Casas de Autor accompanies the creation of a home from its architectural approach to interior design. The Galapagar project brings together architect Daniel Ruiz and Alberto Torres, responsible for the interior design, to work on the house as a whole.

The program covers the construction and decisions about layout, materials, lighting and furniture. The relationship with the landscape and the search for energy efficiency are also part of the project.

His interest is in understanding how architecture and interior design are connected from the beginning. The spaces are not decorated as a final addition: they are thought of together with the structure and the needs of their owners to achieve a coherent, functional home linked to its environment.
